MFSH 2026: A Weekend of Full-Stack Building

30 June 2026

Over 20 students spent an intensive weekend building full-stack applications from scratch. Here's what happened at Modern Full-Stack Hero 2026.

MFSH 2026: A Weekend of Full-Stack Building

Modern Full-Stack Hero (MFSH) 2026 wrapped up last weekend, and by every measure, it was our biggest and most impactful workshop yet. Over 20 participants from across International Islamic University Malaysia spent two intensive days building a real, end-to-end web application — guided closely by senior members of Motion-U.

From fundamentals to deployment-ready projects, MFSH 2026 was designed to turn learners into builders.

The Format

Day One focused on building strong foundations. Participants started with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, then gradually transitioned into the basics of Vue.js — understanding components, reactivity, and project structure. By the end of the first day, teams were already assembling interactive interfaces and gaining confidence in modern frontend workflows.

Day Two went deeper into full-stack development. Participants continued with advanced Vue concepts and integrated PocketBase as the backend — handling authentication, data storage, and APIs with a lightweight and developer-friendly setup. By the final session, each team had a functional application backed by a real database.

In addition to the core curriculum, MFSH 2026 introduced special sessions on agentic coding, where participants explored how AI-assisted and agent-driven workflows can accelerate development, improve productivity, and change the way developers build software.

The energy throughout the workshop was electric. Participants stayed well past 7 PM on both days — not out of obligation, but pure excitement. Ideas kept flowing, features kept shipping, and no one wanted to stop.

What Participants Said

“I came in knowing only HTML and CSS. I left understanding Vue, PocketBase, and how a real full-stack app comes together. The mentors explained things in a way that finally made everything click.”
— Aisyah, First-Year CS Student

If you missed MFSH 2026, don’t worry — the workshop runs every semester. Keep an eye on upcoming Motion-U announcements so you don’t miss the next edition. And if you’re eager to start building right now, CodeDojo sessions are already ongoing.
